  • Engineered a proprietary core Android push notification infrastructure—built as a scalable alternative to FCM—delivering all notifications across Meta applications to over 300 million devices globally.
  • Spearheaded a 0-to-1 platform initiative to port the core notification system to Meta's first-party hardware devices, architecting the backend systems required to enable robust third-party notification support.
  • Enhanced connection security by migrating to a secure, zero-knowledge network handshake protocol and implementing advanced security-hardening features across the core service.
  • Partnered with the Messenger team to redesign the notification architecture, ensuring seamless compatibility and secure data handling for a newly implemented end-to-end (E2E) encryption paradigm.

Built and scaled Meta’s proprietary Android push notification infrastructure — a first-party alternative to FCM serving over 300 million devices — and led the 0-to-1 effort that opened it to third-party developers on Meta hardware.
